What the accounts we could find say

There is not enough independent feedback here to call those themes reliable. Low review confidence — the 4.7 from 33 reviews is shown only on the brand’s own page through a review widget where every review is replied to by the company, there is no Trustpilot profile for the brand, and the independent Amazon rating is 4.1 from 66 ratings.

Why it might work

Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species are the usual probiotic species studied for stool form and bloating, and Bacillus subtilis is a spore-forming species that survives stomach acid, which is why the brand calls it shelf stable. Partially hydrolyzed guar gum is a soluble fiber that gut bacteria ferment, and at 5 g a day it has been tested in IBS and constipation; the label has about one-sixteenth of that. The brand says fulvic acid helps the probiotics establish and seals the gut lining, and that molybdenum converts the toxin acetaldehyde to acetic acid; the NIH confirms molybdenum is a cofactor for several enzymes including aldehyde oxidase, at an RDA of 45 mcg, but no human study of these claims at the label doses was found. The label cannot show which strains are present, how many of each, or how many cells survive to expiry.

What the research supports

No trial of Biome V3 was found, and the label names six species with no strain designations, so the strain-specific probiotic trials cannot be applied to it. A 2023 meta-analysis of 82 IBS trials rated the certainty of benefit as low to very low for most probiotic analyses, and very low for combination probiotics and Bacillus strains. The guar fiber is 300 mg per serving against 5 g a day in the IBS and constipation trials, and no human trial of fulvic acid for gut symptoms was found; the human trial the brand cites tested a skin cream for eczema.

What the label discloses

The panel gives 35 billion CFU for a 100 mg blend of six species with no strain, per-species count or stated count at expiry, plus 300 mg of Sunfiber guar fiber, 15 mg of fulvic acid and 45 mcg of molybdenum (the adult RDA). The fulvic acid source is not stated. No third-party testing is stated beyond an FDA-registered, GMP facility claim, and the Amazon safety text lists warnings (bleeding disorders, liver damage) that match the brand’s sister product rather than this bottle.

Who this tends to suit

We match this product to people reporting bloating, gas and irregular bowel habits. It fits someone whose priority is day-to-day comfort or a steady daily routine. Whether it is the best fit for you depends on the rest of your answers — what you have already tried, what format you will take, and anything that has to be ruled out.

Where it may not fit

The label supports gluten-free and vegan. We flag this product for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding or taking prescription medication, and the quiz removes it rather than recommending it in those cases. That is a caution about who should be deciding, not a claim about the product. A capsule only works if you will take it as often as the label directs.

Side effects and what to be aware of

The brand’s review widget is all positive and owner-replied, Amazon shows 15% one- or two-star ratings from 66 ratings, and some brand-site reviews appear twice with different dates. The bottle says to consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing or taking any medications; the Amazon listing adds bleeding disorders, liver damage and anticoagulants. Autoship is cancelled by phone at least one day before the next shipment under the terms page.

Common questions

Does Native Formulas Biome V3 work?

No trial of Biome V3 was found. The label lists six probiotic species with no strain designations, 300 mg of guar fiber (trials of that fiber used 5 g a day) and 15 mg of fulvic acid, for which no human gut trial was found. The brand’s page has 33 reviews averaging 4.7, and Amazon shows 4.1 from 66 ratings.

What is in Biome V3, and what does fulvic acid do?

Two capsules have 35 billion CFU of six species (Lactobacillus plantarum, Bacillus subtilis, Bifidobacterium lactis, B. bifidum, B. breve, B. longum), 300 mg of Sunfiber guar gum, 15 mg of fulvic acid and 45 mcg of molybdenum. The brand says fulvic acid helps probiotics take hold and supports the gut lining; the human trial it cites was a cream for eczema, and the fulvic acid gut studies found are in animals and cell models.

How much does Biome V3 cost, and how many capsules should you take?

One 60-capsule bottle is $59 one time, or $49 on the monthly subscription, with free shipping; at the two-capsule serving that is $1.97 a day. The label says take two capsules and up to eight a day, and the brand’s FAQ suggests a dose in the morning and one in the evening, which would cost about $3.93 a day. Amazon sells it at $59 and a two-pack at $106.

Is Biome V3 safe, and does it have side effects?

The bottle says to consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing or taking any medications, and to stop if a reaction occurs. The Amazon listing adds warnings for bleeding disorders, liver damage and anticoagulant drugs, which match the brand’s Restore 3 label. The brand’s review page shows no complaints, so no side-effect pattern could be read there.

Can you cancel the Biome V3 subscription and get a refund?

The terms page says to call at least one day before the next monthly shipment, while the FAQ says email or phone works. The refund covers the most recent order within 60 days, one refund per customer, with all bottles returned and shipping not refunded. There is no Trustpilot profile, and the Better Business Bureau lists two complaints in three years.
