Where’s the trouble?

Eight questions, then one product.
Where’s the trouble?
One tap on the symptom that bothers you most: constipation or loose stools, bloating and gas, a food that sets it off, reflux, pain, slow digestion, a stressed gut, or nothing specific.
How deep to go
A quick pointer in about a minute, or the full assessment. Either way it asks how long this has been going on and how often it strikes, because a two-week problem and a two-year one point at different products.
About you
Your age, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some labels rule themselves out here, and the quiz does not continue for anyone under 18.
Your medicines
Any prescription you take, checked ingredient by ingredient against the products the quiz might name, plus a box for anything not on the list. A known interaction removes the product before it can win.
What you’ve tried
Which probiotics, fibers or enzymes you have already taken and whether they helped. A product that did nothing last year is not the answer this year, and one that half-worked says a lot about what to try next.
Format, routine, budget
Capsule, powder, gummy or liquid; whether once a day matters; what a month can cost. The best-evidenced product is no use if you will not take it.
Diet and allergens
Dairy-free, vegan or gluten-free where it matters to you. Labels that carry milk, gelatin or wheat drop out.
Safety stops
Blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss or a sudden change in bowel habit stop the quiz and say so, because those need a clinician before anything from a shelf.
Your match
One product with the reasons it won, line by line, and the research page behind it. Two runners-up. Where to buy at the price we found. An optional email of the result and a symptom tracker for the month after.
Three scores per product, set by hand from the sources.
Research
How strong the clinical trials are for the ingredient and, where one exists, for the exact capsule or powder. A strain tested for antibiotic diarrhea scores for that, not for bloating. The numbers sit on each product page.
Experience
What customers report across the retailers that sell it: the ratings, the size of the pool, and the complaints that recur. Read rather than averaged, so a brand’s own review widget counts for less than a retailer’s.
Label
What is disclosed and at what dose, whether anyone outside the company has tested it, and every warning it carries. The warnings are what remove a product for you before it can win.
The quiz weights the three scores against your answers, removes anything whose label rules it out for your situation, and ranks what is left. The matching is rules, not AI, and nothing in it changes for a brand. The results page prints the case line by line, so you can see which answer moved which product. How we match has the full method.
Before you start.
The quiz is the evidence in eight taps. Here it is written out.
Which gut supplement is right for me?
The symptom-by-symptom answer the quiz is built on: what has the trials for constipation, loose stools, bloating, food triggers, reflux and a stressed gut.
Which probiotic should I take?
The strains with trials, matched to the problems they were tested for, with the dose each trial used and why the CFU number is not the point.
Probiotic or fiber?
Which one each symptom calls for, when it is neither, and whether you can take both.
Ready to find the one worth trying?
One to three minutes, and the reasons come with the answer.
