What the accounts we could find say

Low review confidence — 57 iHerb ratings.

Why it might work

A 15-in-1 gut lining formula built around L-glutamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, with a demulcent botanical blend (DGL, aloe, slippery elm, marshmallow, chamomile, okra) to coat and soothe the mucosal layer. The most comprehensive barrier-support product in the DFH range.

What the research supports

No trial of this formula was supplied with the product data and none has been verified for this entry. The ingredients are named at per-serving amounts, but that is a label fact rather than evidence of an effect; any research that exists is for individual ingredients, not this combination.

What the label discloses

Per daily serving of 7 capsules, read from the iHerb supplement facts panel: zinc 17 mg (from zinc L-carnosine), L-glutamine 1.5 g, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine 1 g, citrus pectin cellulose 1 g, DGL licorice extract 400 mg, aloe vera extract 300 mg, slippery elm extract 200 mg, mucin 200 mg, chamomile extract 100 mg, marshmallow root 100 mg, okra extract 100 mg, cat’s claw 100 mg, MSM 100 mg, quercetin 100 mg and prune powder 100 mg. Every active is stated at an amount, with no proprietary blend. Gelatin capsule. The listing states it does not contain gluten, dairy, soy or GMOs and is made in a GMP registered facility; egg, nuts, fish and sesame are not addressed.

Who this tends to suit

We match this product to people reporting bloating, irregular bowel habits and general abdominal discomfort. It fits someone whose priority is resetting after a course of antibiotics or an upset, a steady daily routine or day-to-day comfort. Whether it is the best fit for you depends on the rest of your answers — what you have already tried, what format you will take, and anything that has to be ruled out.

Where it may not fit

The label supports gluten-free and dairy-free. We flag this product for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding or taking prescription medication, and the quiz removes it rather than recommending it in those cases. That is a caution about who should be deciding, not a claim about the product. A capsule only works if you will take it as often as the label directs.

Side effects and what to be aware of

Contains licorice (deglycyrrhizinated, so low glycyrrhizin risk). The dose is seven capsules a day, which is a lot to keep up; the same formula is sold as a once-a-day powder. The capsule is gelatin. No live organisms.

Before you take this. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking prescription medication. Nothing on this page is medical advice, and no supplement diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents disease.
